We received a kit that I thought was just perfect for my youngest son and I to do together. The Hoop Hideout Kit. This kit contains everything you need to create a hoop tent hideout, a tye-dyed hoop tent hideout! This is the perfect little hideaway for kids to read, play, or just relax.
We have been sprucing up Nik’s room so I thought this would be a great addition and something that he could do himself. He loves making things, and it’s a great way to give him a sense of pride in creating something special for his room.

Nik needed some help with the kit but not much, all of the directions are on the back of the box and are pretty easy to follow.
First you tie up the muslin and secure with rubber bands.
Then using the paint that was provided, you add the paint to the muslin in any way you see fit. Nik and I loved this part. We took it outside to the deck and secured a few trash bags to the table to keep the mess to a minimum. It was fun, messy but fun!
After dying the muslin we placed them in bags and let them sit overnight. The next day you rinse out the extra paint and let dry and then you are ready to assemble the Hoop Hideout.
