When it comes to buying milk, we usually don’t deviate from our normal brand. This is mainly due to the availability of this brand at the grocery store we always shop at.
Lehigh Valley reached out for me to do a review of their dairy products and I was intrigued, mainly due to the 5-Point Checklist they have:
- Our Farmers pledge not to use artificial hormones *
- Milk from cows fed a nutritious diet
- We reject any milk that contains commonly used antibiotics
- Test for quality at every step
- Cold shipped from dairy to store within hours
*No significant difference has been shown in milk fro cows treated with the artificial growth hormone rbST and non rbST treated cows.
Another thing that intrigued me is the new Pure Protect Bottle which protects your milk form harmful light.
So with the 5-Point Purity Checklist and the Pure Protect Bottle, I feel better about serving Lehigh Valley milk to my family. To be honest with you, the milk tasted different to me, like it had more flavor and a creamier texture.
