As a member of the Carmex Blog Squad, I had the absolute pleasure to try out the newest flavors: Carmex Lime Twist and Carmex Vanilla click sticks.

My youngest is addicted to lip balms, so he was eager to rip open the package and to my surprise the first one he went for was the Lime Twist. I’m not a fan of real limes, so I was hesitant to try this one, but we both took to slathering it on and loved it. I really loved the smell, it was very fresh and crisp and smelled just like a lime. What’s even better, it has SPF 15  and three additional moisturizers that are not in the original line of products. We give Carmex Lime Twist an A+.

Next we tried the Vanilla click stick. I was looking forward to this one since I love anything vanilla scented. Although the scent was there, it wasn’t as strong as I would have liked it to be. I still loved the satiny feel and the scent that it did have. My son liked this one, as well. We give it an A- because we both wanted more of the Vanilla scent.

Carmex also surprised up with the Moisture Plus stain gloss finish stick. I love these sticks, I keep one in my purse at all times. It’s great to apply over your lipstick for added moisture, aloe vera, Vitamin E and SPF 15 protection as well. It’s so light and not greasy at all, so it’s a must have to carry with you.
