*ENDED* Ragú Mom’s the Word on Dinner Community on Facebook & $20 Gift Card Giveaway
Dinnertime – in my house this conjures up the age old question – What’s for Dinner? Well, our house the answer could be any number of different things. I am on a diet, so my meals are cooked separately, then we have my husband and oldest son who eat pretty much the same thing, so a meal for them, and then there’s the little guy who is the pickiest eater in the world! It’s no surprise that Dinnertime is a stressful time for me.
Well guess what? I am not alone! Ragu has introduced a new community on Facebook called “Mom’s the Word on Dinner,” an online community where moms go to laugh, learn and share their take on what really happens at dinnertime – the good, the bad and the times you wanna pull your hair out! Whether you need some advice on getting your picky eater to chow down on veggies (I do, I do!) or just want to vent about last night’s dinner disaster – this is the place where you can do it all!
The ladies over at Momversation™, has helped pump up the community with various videos, photos, polls and dinner ideas with quick and easy recipes. Starting August 9th, you can tune in to the latest video and join the conversation about the compromises we make when dinner gets tough! One of the great tips you’ll learn is from parenting expert and author, Dr. Michele Borba, who says “Give a little leeway. You can use compromise as a tactic to your favor, e.g.: ‘Do you want to eat your spaghetti or salad first?’ ‘Do you want your vegetables cooked or raw?’ Just offer choices that you feel comfortable with.”
I would like to invite you to view the newest video surrounding “When Dinner Gets Tough.” Better yet, you can join Ragú Monday night (8/8) at 8PM ET on their Facebook page as they’re hosting a live-streamed chat to tackle this topic, during which you can share your own dinnertime dilemmas, and hopefully get a little laugh while doing so.

Our favorite dinnertime tradition is saying blessing while holding hands. We sing the blessing just like my kids did in daycare. It makes a great start to every meal and reminds us to be grateful for what God has given us.

Sunday dinner with all the family is my favorite time of the whole week!
Thanksgiving with my family is my favorite tradition when I was growing up as a kid because my grandfather & uncle were there for the holidays. Since they have both passed 10+ years ago our Thanksgiving only consists of my parents & myself. When my boyfriend & myself buy our house within the next year or so, I plan on having Thanksgiving dinner w/my family (my parents) & him & his family (his parents) since neither of us have siblings. 🙂
My favorite tradition is Sunday Dinner! We have an early dinner with all the fixins!!
Favorite dinnertime tradition is sharing highs/lows of the day.
Good food & good conversation!
We eat a 5pm every day. We talk about our day.
I am a FB fan.
I always enjoy sitting down together around the table, no matter what we eat!
