I was excited to give Freschetta FlatBread Pizza a try, mainly because my husband could eat pizza every day of the week if I let him. He loves pizza more than any other food there is, so when I got the opportunity to try Freschetta Flatbread Pizza I though what a good guinea pig he would make, lol.
We decided on the 5-Cheese (features Mozzarella, Asiago, Romano, Parmesan and Provolone) since hubby is a purist when it comes to pizza and says that nothing else needs to be on it – I disagree, the more stufff on a pizza the better for me. This is why Freschetta FlatBread Pizza is great for us since they have a few varities to choose from to please everyone: The Zesty Italian that has Pepperoni, Genoa Salami, Italian Sausage, Mozzarella and Asiago cheese. Pepperoni has tons of Pepproni, Mozzarella and Fontina cheese and the Roasted Garlic and Spinach has sweet-roasted garlic, spinach and a creamy garlic sauce. That one right there has my name all over it.
We made the 5-Cheese Freschetta FlatBread pizza for lunch today and I have to say the taste was amazing, no frozen carboard taste here. It’s very fresh and the cheeses are amazing. You can taste the quality in the crust as well, it wasn’t over done or soggy like some oven Pizza’s tend to become. Truth be told (don’t attack me Pizza lovers), I am not a fan of Pizza, I like it, don’t get me wrong, but I don’t go out of my way to buy it for myself but I will be purchasing it for the Hubby for sure and possibly snagging one of the Roasted Garlic flatbread pizza’s for myself, shhhh 😉
