P&G Family Movie Night “Who is Simon Miller?” Airing Saturday, August 6 on NBC at 8pm ET/7pm CT.

I had the chance to preview another wonderful movie from P&G and Walmart as part of their ongoing Family Movie Night presentations; Who is Simon Miller?.  I also had the chance to chat with Robyn Lively, one of the stars of the movie.

Robyn Lively: Ladiiiiiies! Welcome!!
Dianna: Hi Robyn, great to be here!
John K: Do you see series potential here?
Robyn Lively: The real question is… do u?? We are certainly hoping it will turn to series that’s the hope!
DiannaP: So far, I think it would make a great series, different adventures every week
Robyn Lively: YAY!!
DiannaP: Have a great night Robyn and everyone!
Robyn Lively: You as well! Thanks everyone for all the fun comments!

Plot: When unassuming geologist Simon Miller mysteriously disappears one night, the Miller family is thrown into a desperate search to find him. Simon’s wife Meredith and their two kids, Sarah, 18, and Kevin, 15, frantically search Simon’s office for information. When they find a stash of passports, all with Simon’s picture but each with a different alias, they realize that their father has been keeping more than a few secrets. Who is Simon Miller? And what has he gotten himself – and now his family – into? Not sure they can even trust the Dad they thought they knew, the Millers embark on an international mission to get him back. It’s a heart-pounding adventure that tests the limits to which families will fight for each other. (The movie stars Robyn Lively, Loren Dean, Skyler Day, Drew Koles, and Christine Baranski.)

Can you even imagine finding out your husband and Father was leading a double-life? That’s exactly what happens in Who is Simon Miller? We follow the Mom and kids as they find out just exactly who he is, and what an adventure it is!

I loved, loved, loved all the the suspense and action this movie had, no super violent scenes, just pure action. My son is almost 13 and he enjoyed this movie, he said all of the twists were “cool”  – I did as well, the plot was great and it kept you guessing, which is always a great thing while watching a movie, you want to try and figure out who are the bad guys and who are the good.

Robyn was asked about the possibility of the movie becoming a series and she responded that if the response to the movie was good enough that it was a possibility. I for one hope that the reviews are positive, as I would love to see this on a weekly basis. It would be like a small screen version of True Lies.

If you would like to watch another great family movie, the premiere of “Who is Simon Miller?” is on Saturday, August 6th on NBC at 8et./7ct.  Grab some popcorn and get ready for an action packed movie!
