As parents, we want to keep our kids as healthy and happy as possible. From eating the right foods to exercising and mental health, these apps have got so many amazing features.

1 . Brush DJ

Brush DJ is a free application that makes brushing your teeth more fun. The app plays music for 2 minutes, and your child learns that they need to brush their teeth until the music stops. You can choose any song you like, linking up to the music library on your iPhone. With the app, you can also set reminders to:

  • Buy a new toothbrush every 3 months.
  • Brush twice every day.
  • Remember to floss daily.
  • When to schedule dental trips.

It’s important to take your child to the dentist at least once a year. Your dentist will be able to support your child with all their needs, whether it’s getting straight teeth or improving their oral hygiene.

  1. Breathe, Think, Do with Sesame

Breathe, Think, Do is an app to support children to deal with their emotions. When your child is feeling stressed out, the app teaches them to take deep breaths, and brainstorm ideas to deal with the problem. Using these techniques your children can build up their resilience, and understand how to cope with challenges. The app content features all the characters from the children’s show ‘Sesame Street’.

  1. Yoga For Kids

Yoga is a wonderful way to improve physical and mental health. The Yoga For Kids app can help your children to learn the art of yoga and have lots of fun along the way. Here your child can learn a variety of standing poses and floor poses, to build strength and calm the mind. There are so many benefits to a yoga practice including, improved flexibility and posture, and better mental health. Features of the application include:

  • The option to set reminders.
  • A variety of different yoga poses.
  • Different levels from beginner to advanced.
  • Demonstrations using animations.
  • Bodyweight exercises.
  • Game-based activities.

Ensure that your child has a nice space in their room to practice yoga. Start by decluttering the room, and then clear some space for a yoga mat and some floor cushions.

  1. My Food-Nutrition For Kids

Using the My Food app kids can learn all about healthy food and nutrition. Here children can learn about cultivating herbs, classifying food, digestion, and more. There’s a program that instructs kids to plant herbs and then record their progress using the app. The app content covers themes such as:

  • Talking about our favorite foods.
  • Growing foods in the garden.
  • Talking about taste and texture.
  • Learning about nutritional properties.
  • Learning where different foods grow.

The app includes lots of beautiful artwork and illustrations and is easy for kids to use. All of the voice-overs and narratives are read by children, making this an incredibly charming app! With the help of these four tools, you’ll help your child to create a healthy routine.
