Xia-Xia‘s are from a far away land where the Carnivale runs all day, Xia-Xia are crazy crustaceans, who love to dance and play. Costumed in wild and wacky shell fashions, Xia-Xia love to change their shells for their festivities. Press their claw and the parade begins; Xia-Xia have a wacky Xia-Xia shuffle that is tons of fun to watch.

Aren’t they just adorable?? Each Xia-Xia Hermit Crab comes with a brightly colored shell in which kids can fi­nd a little friend hidden inside.  You can purchase additional shells, there are 12 beautiful shells to choose from, so your little one can change the shell at their whim and get new little friends as well. Changing the shell is really easy too, just pop it off and put on a new one.

There are three play sets that you can purchase for your Xia-Xia’s and you can see, the play set is bound to get their little imaginations going for sure!  Choose from the Confetti Cottage play set, the Copacabana Play set and the Rio de Trio Village play set.

I know when I was a little kid I had a real hermit crab, and let me tell you, they are not the kind of pet you can play with, I have the pinch scar to prove it! These little cuties are definitely pets you can play with and have a ton of fun with.

Each one has a battery inside and work with a pull-back motion that sends them scurrying across the room.

I know that Skylar loved her Xia-Xia pets and she and Mommy played all day with them!
