Ok, I know I said I would update on The View posts on Wednesday and Saturday but I think it would be better to do it Wednesday’s and Fridays, that way it is still fresh in my mind.
So the men continued to rule the rest of the week with Joe Scarborough as the moderator and Hal Sparks as the co-host on Thursday’s show. Hot topics weren’t so hot to me, I found myself not tuning in, not sure if it was due to the guys or just the lack of interest on my part.
I of course loved when Chris Rock came out since he never disappoints at grabbing my attention. That man is hilarious and again, I can’t wait to see Grown-Ups, it has such a stellar cast and from the clips I have seen, I think it will provide many laughs, something I need these days.
Judge Larry Seidlin, author of The Killing of Anna Nicole Smith was also a guest and he just skived me out. Seriously, she is going to be like Marilyn Monroe and Elvis with the constant probe into her death. In my opinion he is just as bad as the people he is accusing in his book, by profiting from her death. Let the woman and her son rest in peace.
Sherri did a great job today in the moderator’s seat and I adore Rachel Harris who was the co-host. I love her sense of humor.
They had Diane Dimond who has covered Michael Jackson for two years and she gave some insights into the lives of his family and children since his death one year ago today. Again, not very interested in this story, it’s another Anna Nicole situation, this story will be going on for years. Blah.
The other guest was Jeremy Piven. I have never seen his show Entourage since I don’t get that station but I am a little interested in maybe renting the show to see what all of the hype is about. I don’t really have an opinion about Jeremy like a lot of other people seem to have but as an actor I think he is pretty awesome.
I have to say that the feature on the hottest summer shoes was by far my favorite segment, go figure, right? They had some really cute shoes especially the Caged Booties, meow, those were hot! The best part – all of the shoes were under $50. You can check them all out here.
Coming up next week on The View – Whoopi returns! I am looking forward to seeing her back in the moderator’s seat, even though the guys did a very commendable job. Also nest week, Kate Gosselin returns as co-host on Friday, July 2nd.
