Hitting the Fan
Tension in the workplace is nothing new, there are bound to be people who you just don’t get along with. Whether it is a personality conflict, or someone whose work ethics are a bit skewed, it’s no fun being in that situation.

I experienced a little of both at my last job as an accounting professional for a local company. The woman I worked with was not liked by anyone at the company, I knew this going in. I decided that I would give her the benefit of the doubt and went in with an open mind. Wow was I ever wrong! She was impossible to get along with because she had a sense of entitlement from being at the job the longest, and she didn’t think twice about getting her fellow employees in trouble so that she would look good.

It was an impossible situation, and the tension was unbearable, very similar tension that unfolding on the show The Good Wife.  In a not to miss episode, “Hitting The Fan,” airing this Sunday, the 27th, the tension is mounting as Alicia plots to leave Lockhart Gardner to start a new firm, when this information is exposed, it leads to a frantic, and not so cordial, battle for clients.
