Who out there is a fan of The View? *Raises Hand* If you are indeed a fan of The View then I invite you to take a little ride with me for the next four weeks. I have been asked to watch The View and blog about it – the good, the bad, what I liked, what I didn’t, who I don’t like (Elisabeth) and who I love (Whoopi). As you can see, I have my own favorites already.
Just so you know, and I’m being as honest as possible, I am getting compensated to write my posts (check the disclosure), which couldn’t have come at a better time with the transmission in our van taking a dirt nap this week. However, I was instructed to give my honest opinions of the show and you can better believe it will be honest as I already watch the show and have my moments of “talking back to the TV” especially when Elisabeth is on 😉
Being a stay at home homeschooling Mom, the TV is always on in this house. I like to have it in the background as I write (I freelance on the side), so I always have something on that keeps my ear gravitating towards the TV. I always have The View on because I love the concept of women of all shapes, ages, race and political stances all gathered around a table sharing their opinions. There is bound to be drama and it never disappoints.
What can you expect from me during these four weeks? Well, throughout the week I will be posting a few blogs about The View. Consider this one your introduction and an explanation about why I have all of a sudden started blabbering about The View. All I ask from you guys is to jump in and leave your comments about the show. Do you love it, hate it, did you love the guest, hated someones outfit? Or if you have stopped watching, let me know the reason why? Whatever got you going while watching, leave me a comment so we can discuss.
I will post on Wednesday and Saturday so I can cover the week of shows. So until then, watch today for Betty White, I adore this woman and come on, who doesn’t? She’s America’s Grandma! Also Kathy Griffin will be on this week, another one of my faves, you never know what she is gonna say!
