On July 15 I made my way to NYC for my second Blogger Bash conference. I went last year and decided to treat myself with a VIP ticket this year.
As part of the VIP experience, we were invited to the Delta Children showroom where we had the chance to check out the what’s new in licensed furniture for kids.
As a VIP we were also treated to a beautiful spread and cocktails on Delta’s private rooftop!
The conference hadn’t even officially started and I was impressed.
On Thursday, the official start of the conference we were treated to a Care Bears brunch where we learned about what’s in store for the Care Bears this year from apps, a new Netflix original series, and to taking the #ShareYourCare Oath. It was a lovely brunch and a great dip back into my childhood.
After the brunch it was time for a few more VIP events, then the one and only SWEET SUITE 15. This was my third year attending Sweet Suite and it just gets better every single year. I was allowed to enter an hour before everyone as a VIP perk and I still didn’t have enough time to visit everyone and I stayed to the very end, 9 pm!
This year the sponsor were on point, they were aware of how they wanted to work with bloggers and took the time to listen to my pitch as well. I had a handful of reps recognize me when I handed them my card, so that was great.
Day Two Started with a Disney Infinity breakfast where we learned about 3.0 and Star Wars joining the Disney Infinity toys-to-life universe.
Then it was time to make my way over to the main event space where I attended the Baby Palooza event for a bit and then wandered into the Rite-Aid Recharge Lounge.
THE EXPERIENCE

I also met with even more brands at the Expo.
After all of this it was time for Lunch, The Peanuts keynote lunch. As a Peanuts ambassador, I was excited for others to learn what Peanuts has in store for the rest of this year, most notably, The Peanuts Movie! They did have a surprise for us, some of the cast of the movie came to answer some questions for us and they were adorable!
After lunch it was back to the main hall where at this point I just needed to sit down. You see, I had injured my ankle before going to NYC and was wearing this lovely thing;
I did make it to Speed Dating where I met a few brands that I am excited to work with in the near future.
By the end of Friday night my ankle was KILLING me and I knew that I had pushed it too far. I went into the Canadian Lentils Carnival closing party to find my people and say my goodbyes. I had no more energy to even stay for the rest of the party BUT visually, it was AMAZING! It was a carnival theme complete with games, a strong man, a contortionist, and a woman hanging from a chandelier pouring champagne. GORGEOUS! What a way to send everyone off!
Whew! I am tired just reliving all of that! So there you go, a little taste of Blogger Bash and Sweet Suite. Fun, right? I plan on going next year, I just hope I don’t have to hobble this time around.
