My May box contained Sablefish, also known as black cod. Sablefish is super healthy and contains more Omega-3 fatty acids than the popular salmon does. Since it is a fattier fish it is known to be more flavorful and is very good smoked.
I ended up pan-frying it with butter and garlic.
Because it had the skin I made sure to melt the butter first before placing the fish in the pan so it wouldn’t stick.
I have to say that it fried up beautifully!
I decided to pair it with Brussels sprouts and bacon.
