I love Chinese food, but it’s really hard to make it at home and duplicate the same flavor and even harder to buy Chinese food from the grocery store and have it taste half-way decent, at least until now……..

I received Beef & Broccoli, which is the first beef dish in their line of great-tasting, complete Chinese meals for two. This whole meal took about 14 minutes to cook, this included cooking the beef strips, broccoli florets, red peppers and water chestnuts and the rice.
The rice was amazing, it’s Jasmine rice which I had heard off but never tried. The aroma form this rice is extremely unique and the taste and texture are incredible. You actually throw the rice in the microwave and steam it while the beef and veggies cook.
My biggest issue with trying to replicate my favorite Chinese dish at home is the brown sauce, I can never ever even get close to the flavor but Wanchai Ferry had it nailed! It taste even better than take-out.
