As you all know, I have two boys, one who eats pretty well and the other who is as picky as it gets. Because of his extreme pickiness, I worry that he isn’t getting all of the vitamins and minerals he needs as he grows. I have tried all kind of vitamins from chewable to gummies but I have never thought of liquid vitamins that you can mix into drinks and such.

Since my picky child doesn’t mind taking liquid forms of medicine, I figured that NutraSea Kids would be a perfect product for him to take. NutraSea Kids is a pharmaceutical quality fish oil with a balanced EPA/DHA ratio that contains GLA, and omega-6 which has been scientifically proven to be beneficial for early childhood development.  Formulated for children 3-13 year old, NutraSea Kids exceeds the CRN* pharmaceutical quality & purity standards and is certified by PURE CHECK third-party verification.

We tried the NutraSea very berry flavour by mixing into his fruit juice.  I let him do this so he knew exactly what it looked and smelled like and much to my surprise he was pretty gung-ho about trying it. He said he could taste it a little bit but it was good because it reminded him of bubble gum, which he is absolutely correct, it does smell and taste a little like bubble gum, so that was a big plus in his eyes.

I on the other hand tried the  NutraSea +D but made the mistake of taking it straight, which I do not recommend. It was apple flavor and would be great mixed in with pure apple juice or even another kind of fruit juice since the flavor is pretty mild.

If you would like to learn more about NutraSea, please be sure to visit their site and please be aware that NutraSea is recommended for children two to thirteen years old and if any of your children have fish allergies you should consult your doctor before using NutraSea.
