It’s the end of the first day on Nutrisystem and I am full! I was so worried I wouldn’t get all of the food in but managed to do that and exercise some to boot! Oh, and I am on my last 8 ounces of water, which wasn’t as hard as I thought it was gonna be. One question, do trips to the bathroom a million times count as exercise? LOL!
I started off the day with a Ham and Cheese Omelet and loved it, I added a non-fat yogurt and 1/2 a banana. I felt so energized after eating that I was hyped to make it through the rest of the day.
You see, I never eat breakfast and hardly ever eat lunch, so having to eat breakfast, lunch and a snack before dinner has thrown me off and made me feel like I was cheating or eating way too much. BUT looking at the calories I racked up, I see that the food portions are just the right amount and I have to work on how my mind works – I am NOT overeating, I am actually eating at a healthier rate.
This is why I know Nutrisystem will work for me, I have a set amount to eat and the times are pretty much set for each meal. You get to add to the meals, which also helps me from being bored. I ate just about every 3 to 4 hours, which is a great way to keep your metabolism up.
Lunch was a salad and a Meatball Parmesan melt and dinner was the Asian beef, asparagus and cauliflower, yum.
So a great first day was had and I am even more excited to do it all over again tomorrow! I will post my weekly update’s every Monday so you can see how well the program is working for me 🙂
