I am happy and excited to announce that I was asked to be a part of Nutrisystem Nation, a four month blogger program where I will be tracking and reporting about my experience while on the program.

Like so many others, I have struggled my entire life with weight, my heaviest being in High School, yeah, not a fun time for me. My High School experience could have been made in to an after-school special, being teased, made fun of, degraded, is something I wouldn’t even wish on my worst enemy. The devastation it does to your self-esteem is life-altering and I still deal with insecurities as a result.

Around 17, I started losing weight, at first it was the healthy way, then it quickly became unhealthy. I went down a long dark path and finally got a wake-up call from my Mom who finally just told me I had gone too far. At that point, I didn’t see it, but my Mom did and I snapped out of it and started back on the healthier path to losing weight.

I kept it off for many years until I got pregnant with my first son, then the weight piled on, then I lost it, then I got pregnant with my youngest and again the weight was back. I’ve been up and down and up and down but have never reached that HS weight again, at least this was something I am proud of but still, it’s time to lose the weight and finally keep it off now at 40 years old, ugh! 🙂

I know, for me, what my weak points are, I’m an emotional eater and a night eater. I spend most of the day with the boys, working on the site and doing housework and I don’t eat, then at night it becomes a race to make up for what I didn’t eat during the day. Not good.

So every week for the next four months (will officially start once my shipments arrive) I will be posting my updates, I would like to lose at least 35 pounds (more would be fine too). Will you follow along with me?  Would love the support!
