I live in a house full a boys, a house full of boys who love electronic toys and gadgets. Last month while at Blogger Bash, I saw WowWee’s MiP, a gesture-controlled robot, who was cute to boot! He seemed like the perfect addition to our home, and I was happy to able to check him out.

As soon as you turn MiP on and place him down, he immediately starts balancing himself. He makes cute little sounds as he does so, and even cuter sounds when he falls over.
MiP is controlled by GESTURESENSE™ TECHNOLOGY, using your hand or an object you can control where MiP goes with the simple movement of your hand.
Turn the wheel to the corresponding color for the following modes;
TRACKING (ORANGE) – Play the ultimate version of follow the leader and watch MiP™ precisely track your hands, legs, or any other object of your choice!
DANCE (TURQUOISE) – MiP™ is the life of the dance party. Flip its wheel to light blue and watch this rock star do what he does best.
ROAM (YELLOW) – Watch MiP™’s explore and react to the environment. Highly responsive to surroundings, MiP™ detects objects in the way, acknowledges them, avoids them, and keeps on going.
TRICKS (RED) – Have fun with this one, to the tune of up to 50 commands. MiP lets you program different sequences of action. Swipe your hand in all directions, clap twice, and MiP™ will play it back. Anything you can do, MiP™ can do better.
CAGE (WHITE) – MiP™ is in a virtual cage. It’s your turn to prevent its escape by blocking all the exits.
STACK (PINK) – Stack as many objects as you can on MiP’s tray before the timer runs out! He can even carry another MiP!
You can also have a ton of fun playing with your MiP by installing and using the MiP app. where you can play games, drive Mip, draw a path for him to follow, have him dance, and if you have another MiP, you can make the box one another.
