When I first heard about Blogger Bash I was super excited to attend, this wasn’t your typical, dare I say, boring conference, this was MY type of conference. I don’t need the classes, or the regimented feel, I need the connections with brands who want to work with bloggers.
Another plus, it was so close to home being in NYC, I just jumped on a train and was in the city in no time!
I attended The Big Toy Book Sweet Suite last year and loved every second of it, it was just an amazing event and one that is put on with such love and respect for the bloggers attending.
Here’s a little recap of the 2 day event.
Let the fun begin!
As soon as we walked in we saw the adorable faces of the KidzBopKids who autographed a photo for my son Nik.
Then it was time for a sweet treat from this gorgeous gal from SugarWish.
Every turn you made brought you to another fabulous product and super friendly and helpful reps to explain the latest and greatest toys.
After making my way down the hallway, it was time for a drink – a Lemonhead Martini! Yay!
I had to go to my Jazwares because, um, MINDCRAFT, my son wouldn’t have forgiven me if I didn’t!
I don’t know why, maybe because I have kitties, but the Cat Paw from Wicked Cool Toys just made my night! Thanks to Janis for the demonstration and just being so awesome.
After a very long day it was time to relax and party with the newest and prettiest Angry Bird, Stella!
Goodnight New York!
The next morning we headed back for the days activities at Blogger Bash.
First up was the Warner-Bros Bat-tastic Breakfast and Lego Batman Game demonstration.
I attended the Media Panel with Deborah J. Mitchell from Media Associates, Samantha Meiler from Nick Mom, Samantha Murphy Kelly from Mashable, Ciaran Blumenfeld from Hashtracking, and Momfluential Media, and last but not least the very funny Dena Blizzard from One Funny Mother. This was a great break in the busy schedule to actually sit down and listen to the wisdom and advice these women had to offer.
Next up for me was Brand Speed Dating where I met some wonderful brands and business owners that love bloggers.
Last event of the night, the KidzVuz Back To School Bash where I met even more amazing brands and ended the night with a wonderful event.
The next day a very tired me found myself back on the train to think about the events of the last two days.
Thank you Charlene DeLoach, Joey Fortman, Stephanie Glover, Debbie Bookstaber, Rebecca Levey, Desiree Landers Miller, Nancy Rabinowitz Friedman, Nadia Carriere for an amazing time, for the connections I made and the life-long friendships I forged. Can’t wait till next year!
