Gluten Free Products at Walmart! #GlutenFree

I wanted to share with you the news that Walmart now has gluten-free products. You may or may not already know this, but here in Maryland this is something new.

If you are like me, whenever you go into the grocery store you scour the shelves in the hopes of finding something gluten-free, am I right? Sadly, most stores don’t have a gluten-free section, and if they do have products, they are scattered all over the place so it’s hard to find them.

In my area I have found a few stores that have a dedicated gluten-free section, Giant and Redner’s grocery stores. Although the selection isn’t huge, at least I can find a few staples like breads and pasta.

I received an email from  Udi’s Gluten Free Foods that announced “We’re excited to let you know that your local Wal-Mart now carries Udi’s Gluten Free Breads, Cookies, and Bagels!” So I knew a trip would be imminent.

So the other night my husband stopped at our local Walmart, the one I always check to see if they have any gluten-free items, and he found a whole new section and surprised me with the following:

Woo hoo! I was just saying to him that I wanted pretzels, and he found my favorite by far. Glutino pretzels are amazing! I have never tried their pasta, so that will be a new experience. I tend to go for the corn pasta but I am willing to give it a go!

I have had the Lundberg Risotto in the past and love that as well, but have never tried the Gluten Free Cafe‘s Brown Rice Hot Cereal. I hope it’s good because boy do I miss my oatmeal in the morning.
