Product Review | Food Should Taste Good
Recently, I decided to go completely gluten-free, and have been having a tough time finding snacks that are both gluten-free and that taste good. Well to my surprise, a miracle happened, well not a miracle but close to it for me, Food Should Taste Good (don’t you just love that name?) sent me several bags of chips to review.
All of the products are made from real, simple ingredients, which is a HUGE plus. No worries of all that extra “stuff” that other brands add to their products. Food Should Taste Good are cholesterol, preservative and trans fat FREE and do not use GMOs (genetically modified ingredients). They are also certified Kosher and Gluten Free (yay), lower in sodium, and are a good source of dietary fiber.
They also have a ton of different flavors to choose from, such as Multigrain, Sweet Potato, Olive, Jalapeño, Lime, Cantina, The Works!, Chocolate, Blue Corn, Cheddar, White Cheddar, Toasted Sesame, Hemp, Jalapeño with Cheddar, Hatch Chile and Kettle Corn. Then there is the NEW Kettle Cooked Sweet Potato Chips; Original, Barbeque, Salt & Pepper, and Salt & Vinegar.
The Blue Corn chips were just what I expected. They were crispy, fresh and had a nutty kind of taste that went perfect with salsa. Mr. Picky wouldn’t touch them because of the color, lol, even though I told him that they were really good. Ah, what can you do? I enjoyed them and will picking them up again soon!
Sweet Potato chips, who knew how yummy they would be?? I was so surprised at the taste, it was just like my sweet potato fries I make, but crispy. They were so good! Besides The Works!, this one is my favorite.
If you love sweet potatoes, then you will LOVE these chips. I definitely have to try the other Kettle Cooked flavors, especially the salt & vinegar.
The whole family was super curious about the Chocolate chips. We were really not sure what to expect of them at all. Upon trying them, I am still not really sure what to think. They weren’t bad, but strange. They definitely have a chocolate taste, but it hits you more after you have eaten the chip, like on the back of your tongue. I was hoping for more of a sweeter tasting chip, but they turned out to taste more salty than sweet.
