Bare Fruit Apple Cinnamon Chips Review

This past month has been a doozy for me. I feel like I have spent most of it at the hospital and Doctors office trying to find out why I feel so horribly.

One of the reasons, that was confirmed (I had already suspected it), was that I have a sensitivity to gluten. It is mainly to pasta, white flour, oats and wheat but varies in how it makes me react. So while I wait for more tests, I decided to go completely gluten-free, and today marks my 4th day.

One of the hardest things about going gluten-free is finding snack, so when I was asked by Bare Fruit Snacks to try one of their products and saw that they were gluten-free, I jumped at the chance to discover, hopefully, a new snack alternative.

I was sent Cinnamon Apple Chips to try:

Made with organic cinnamon for that classic apple and cinnamon taste
Grown in Washington state
100 Percent organic and kosher
Fat and Gluten free
No added sugar, preservatives or additives

To be completely honest, I was a tad nervous to try them. I have tried other snacks like this in the past that promised to have a crunchy texture and was sadly let down with them being squishy and rubbery.

This was not the case with Bare Fruit Cinnamon Apple Chips.  When I bit into the chip, it definitely crunched like a regular chip, then came the explosion of flavor – first tart, just like a real apple, and then the sweet. Lots of flavor!  I then took the bag all over the house and had my entire family try them, well everyone except Mr. Picky Pants, my youngest. Both my husband, and my oldest son loved them too!

I think I was more excited that they tasted so good cause now I had a nighttime snack that was not only gluten-free, but low in calories. Now I don’t have to feel guilty about eating “chips” while watching my favorite shows and it helps fill my sweet cravings.

I really liked the Cinnamon Apple Chips and would love to try the other chip products: Fuji Apple Chips and Granny Smith Apple Chips. They also have Dried, Mangos, Cherries and Pears. Definitely a nice variety and worth checking out if you are looking for a healthy, organic snack.

You can find out all about Bare Fruit on the website or “like” them on Facebook.
