I have spent 33 weeks on Nutrisystem and my time has come to an end. It was a roller-coaster ride for sure, full of ups and downs, joys and not so much joy, but well worth every minute!

I have learned so much during my time on Nutrisystem – lessons that I will use on a daily basis and can revert back to when I need them. Most importantly, I learned that no two people are alike when losing weight – yeah, I should have known that already but it really hits home when you are losing weight with other bloggers and see the tremendous difference in weight loss.

I lost a total of 27 pounds (2 more this past week on my own) and a total of 25 inches. I am almost neck and neck with pounds and inches lost but that just shows you how differently people lose weight. So overall in my 33 weeks, I lost almost a pound a week, so for me, this is great however, I am not done yet!

At almost 41, everything has slowed down for me weight wise and as some of you may have found out, it’s not so easy to drop the pounds BUT with the help of Nutrisystem and the fabulous parting gifts below, I can lose the weight at my own pace, even if takes me a year to do so, at least I am moving in the right direction.

The Low GI Cookbook, Nutrisystem Edition comes from the expert authors of The New Glucose Revolution Series. Use this cookbook to prepare meals and snacks consistent with the Nutrisystem program — low-fat, low glycemic, and portion controlled. Each recipe provides nutritional information and the Nutrisystem program equivalent, so you know exactly how much to eat and how this amount fits into your personal Nutrisystem® meal plan.

I have already made a few of the recipes in the book this week and am loving all of the new ideas and dishes.

This portion control tool allows you to serve perfect portions right on your plate. Use the designated portion cavities to measure starches, fruit, vegetables, and proteins according to your Nutrisystem meal plan. This tool can easily be moved from plate to plate and is dishwasher-safe, so it’s perfect for family meal times.

OMG, this is so cool! A lot of people have issues with portion control, me included, so this is an awesome tool to do all the work of portion control for you! PLUS, I can use it when preparing meals for the entire family to keep us all on track.

This three-piece utensil set takes the guesswork out of serving appropriate portion sizes, allowing you to portion the proper amounts of starches, vegetables and meats for your meals. The starch spoon and slotted vegetable spoon serve perfect ½-cup portions, while the spatula provides a 3-oz. portion guideline for serving meat.

Again, another awesome tool to make sure you are eating the right amount of foods.

So in closing, I would like to give Nutrisystem a big THANK YOU! for allowing me to be a part of their awesome blogger program and supporting me along the way!
