I was sent the Disney Infinity: 3.0 Edition Starter Pack for PlayStation 4 to review to the delight of my boys. I live in a house full of gamers, and gamers who also love Star Wars so this was a win, win all around.
My youngest has played Disney Infinity before, at his friends house so he had a bit of a background on what to do and how to do it. We have had similar games that require figures for in-game playing so it wasn’t hard to figure out. Star Wars is hot on everyone’s list this year with the new movie coming out in just few short weeks, so they were right on the money making this one.
The game includes Disney Infinity: 3.0 Edition game, Disney Infinity: 3.0 Edition base, Ahsoka Tano and Anakin Skywalker Star Wars figures, Star Wars Twilight of the Republic Play Set piece and one Web code card to get you started. You can play any way you want whether you want to go the story-driven route or the open- world of 3.0 Toy Box mode. The boys decided to follow the story for the first go around.

The cool thing is, even though this is Star Wars, you can use characters from previous versions, which is great. I like that you are not stuck to one franchise. So if you have Disney Pixar, Marvel or Disney characters, you can use them all in this version. As someone who is purchasing the characters, I love that you can use them and I don’t have to purchase specific characters for the games.
