Nintendo will be launching a collection of brand new amiibo figures in September, including several amiibo hitting store shelves on the 11th of September.

Amiibo are a series of Nintendo character toys that interact with multiple games on the Wii U and 3DS. The first wave of figurines was released on November 21, 2014, in the United States.
The full list of amiibo figures launching on the 11th of September includes:
- 30th Anniversary Mario Classic Color
- Zero Suit Samus
- Ganondorf
- Olimar
- Bowser Jr.
- Dr. Mario
On Sept. 25, a Retro 3 Pack will launch, which includes R.O.B., Duck Hunt and Mr. Game & Watch amiibo from the Super Smash Bros. series in a single package. Further details will be released soon.

I didn’t even know such a thing existed! I guess probably because we don’t have a Wii U or Nintendo 3DS. I kind of wish I would have known sooner. I am sure my kids would have preferred this over Skylanders and the Disney Infinity we got for our PS4.
