It’s that time again! For a lot of you, your children have either already gone back to school or will be very soon. Save-A-Lot would like to take a little bit of the stress away from parents by making sure to provide you with some lunchbox favorites.
My Save-A-Lot here in Maryland is literally around the corner, so we spend a lot of time shopping there. I have been shopping at Save-A-Lot for probably close to 10 years now and love the savings they provide to my family.
When it comes to lunches my family definitely has favorites, one may like to eat peanut butter and jelly, and the other may just a cheese sandwich. Save-A-Lot carries all our favorites and more. Now that school is starting up for us we are stocking up!
Austin variety pack crackers are definitely favorites in this house, and so are Lance cookies. I love the variety they have and especially the prices, always affordable.
My husband also packs a lunch to save money. The lunch in the picture above is his; thick cut bologna and cheese, cheese balls, Lance cookies and Coburn Farms Yogurt. You don’t need to be a child to still enjoy lunchtime favorites.
My boys are a different story, they are both super picky, so for them a cheese sandwich, some kind of crunchy snack, a yogurt and maybe a sweet treat is all they need to be happy.

Cream cheese and jelly sandwich was always my favorite school lunch!
My favorite lunch was pb &j sandwich, fruit, and homemade cookies.
My favorite lunch to take to school was pb&j and I loved mushroom soup in a thermos.
PB&J has always been my favorite!
I always liked peanut butter and jelly which I can’t even give my child nowadays because peanut butter isn’t allowed at his school..so I use sun butter instead which just isn’t the same.
I liked to have turkey sandwiches.
I had school lunches, one of my favorite was the chili with a cinnamon roll.

my all time favorite lunch was my mothers homemade vegetable soup served with a ham sandwich, fruit, cornbread, and milk!!! I knew when she handed me a thermos that I was getting soup!!! Thanks mom!
