 General Mills Monster Cereals

It’s that time of year and guess whose back? Your favorite Monster Cereals from General Mills! Your favorite monsters are haunting the cereal aisles of Target stores for a limited-time* only, including Count Chocula®, Boo Berry® and Franken Berry®. For more than 40 years General Mills Big G Monster Cereals, have been a playful and delicious tradition enjoyed by kids and adults all over the country during Halloween.

 General Mills Monster Cereals

Do you remember eating them as a child? I do, considering they came out a year after I was born! We always looked forward to having them come out around Halloween. Of course when I was a little girl, I didn’t care too much about how nutritious they actually were, they just tasted soooo good. But now, as a Mom myself, I love that each serving of the monster-themed cereal has no cholesterol or saturated fat and provide a good source of whole grain, calcium, and nine essential vitamins and minerals.

My favorite Monster cereal was and always will be Boo Berry. I can’t eat them now, stupid gluten intolerance, but I can watch my boys enjoy them. I will admit to opening up the boxes and smelling them all, such a blast from the past! They may have updated the look of the characters, but the cereal still smells the same, took me right back to being a kid.

Speaking of, check out this retro commercial featuring the Monster Cereals:

Be sure to  head into your local Target store to stock up on these Spooky cereals, before they disappear.
