Are you as addicted to FarmVille as I am? Do you love healthy, organic food? Then you need to check out  Cascadian Farm’s newest FarmVille initiative to help make a positive change for a healthier earth and spread some fun to your FarmVille game!

Cascadian Farm has become the first official branded – and organic – crop to be offered in Zynga´s popular online game, FarmVille. Through this great intitative, you can learn and become a part of organic farming beginning July 19 through July 26.

Cascadian Farm will provide FarmVille players with the opporutunity to build up their farms quickly, gain access to coupons, and informative organic and green living tips. Cascadian Farm organic blueberry crops will also be avavialbe to FarmVille players and be the most profitable FarmVille crop offered in the game.

Even Cascadian Farm’s real farm that is located in the Upper Skagit Valley of Washington’s North Cascade Mountains has gone virtual. The virtual Cascadian Farm will carry out the brand’s mission to grow good and honest food by encouraging FarmVille users to harvest crops that are free from synthetic fertilizers and pesticides.

FarmVille players can also request “Farmer Joe Cascadian,” to be their neighbor by “friend-ing” him by using the FarmVille application to become his neighbor in-game. How fun is that? I know I will be friending Farmer Joe Cascadian, and planting some organic blueberry crops, will you?
