Years ago before I had my first son I was a full-blown vegetarian but when I became pregnant the cravings for non-vegetarian foods became unbearable and I fell off the wagon. Although I am not strictly a vegetarian any longer, I still gravitate towards the veggies.
I often buy meatless products and tons and tons of veggies simply because I love the variety and it honestly makes me feel better physically. This is why I was excited to try Veggie Patch products.
Veggie Patch makes healthy vegetarian foods that are easy-to-prepare, nutritious and delicious. All products are free of MSG and trans-fats, and serve as a great source of protein, calcium and fiber.
I tried the Spinach Bites………………..
and they were super easy to make and really good! I could see serving these as a horderve during the holidays with a ranch dipping sauce.
I also tried the Meatless Meatballs………
Again, super easy to make, just pop them in the microwave and you are good to go in minutes! They would be great as a healthier alternative to traditional meatballs and as you can see, the health benefits are awesome!
My next purchase from Veggie Patch will be the Falafel Chickpea Balls because I am currently on a chickpea kick and these just sound delicious. I would make some homemade taziki sauce and go to town, lol!
