I was sent the most amazing toy, meet Toniebox, an imagination-building, screen-free digital listening experience for children 3+.
Toniebox works in conjunction with characters called Tonies. It’s essentially a music and storytime box for children ages 3+. The box itself is padded and soft to the touch yet sturdy for kids to play with it. They can even snuggle up to while listening to their favorite songs or stories.
It comes in various colors and has seven hours of battery life so they can take it with them on the go. It also has a headphone jack for quiet listening.
When you open your Toniebox you will receive everything you need to get started on your adventure, you just need a wi-fi connection. You will need to download the Tonie-App to register and set-up your Toniebox and then you are ready to go.
Turn on your Toniebox by squeezing the ear, when the box on top turns green, place your Tonie on the top. It will begin playing songs or telling a story. If you want to pause, just take the Tonie off the box and it will stop, put it back on and it will continue where it left off. The little ears on top allow you to adjust the volume up and down, just gently squeeze them to do so.
If you want to skip back and forth, just tap the Toniebox on the side, you will need to tap it pretty hard. To fast forward or rewind just tilt the box to one side. The Toniebox comes with a charger, so all you need to do it place the Toniebox on top of the charging base and plug it into the wall. You will see a green light when it is fully charged, and an orange light when the battery is low.

I really love this product and think that it would be an amazing gift for the child in your life. I adore that it is screen-free and has nothing to do with being on the internet. That alone is worth it to me.
I also love how easy it is to control and that your child can control it without help. How cute would this be to have in their room at night to tell them a story? When it’s done telling a story, the Toniebox will go into sleep-mode, so no worries about having to turn it off.
