Baltimore, 1849. I am from Baltimore, so the history behind Edgar Allen Poe is a right of passage here. I did many school projects on Mr. Poe and his dark works, and have been a fan for over 30 years. He was a fascinating man, and the movie is a great twist on his life and works. PLUS I have always had a HUGE crush on John Cusack from the first time I ever saw him in 16 Candles, even though he was a geek, lol!
