Did you know that over 78 million dogs are owned in the US and 39% of all US households own at least one dog?  That means there are more households with dogs than kids!

I have always had pets growing up, more specifically, dogs. My dad wasn’t much of a cat lover, but dogs, yes, he loved them more than anything. We had so many growing up that I can’t even remember a time in my life that I didn’t have a dog, well, except when I moved to DC and had my own apartment and dogs weren’t allowed 🙁

So suffice it to say, I love pets and I know the love of owning a dog. Our dog now, is a beautiful Border Collie/Husky mix that we bought 6 years ago. Mystique is the most loving and protective dog I have ever owned and also the most well behaved.

I remember when we first brought her into our family, we had to train her to walk on a leash. Not the easiest thing to do with traditional leashes. That is why the Instant Trainer Leash is awesome for new pet owners, or people who have issues with their dogs on leashes.

Benefits of the Instant Trainer Leash

  • Uses gentle but firm resistance to discourage dogs, small and large, from pulling.
  •  Attaches to any collar to help give owners complete control over their dog, or makes it easier to walk multiple dogs with confidence.
  •  Veterinarian and dog trainer approved to help transform even the most hyper dogs into a perfect walker
  • Available in two sizes, for dogs under 30 lbs and dogs over 30 lbs

The Instant Trainer Leash is also easy to put on. My husband had no issues placing it on Mystique and she didn’t mind on bit.  We really don’t have an issue with her not behaving while walking but do have some pulling issues. The Instant Trainer Leash made it easier to control her when she would pull to get at another dog or the neighborhood cat.

I love that it’s not pulling on her neck and it more centered around her waist. I always felt like I choking her with a traditional leash and I hated that.  The other great feature is the fact that she remained right by my side and didn’t drag me behind her. This is great for when you are at a public place or a park, no worries of her darting towards another dog or at people and scaring the life out of them.

  1. I would love to win this for our pitbull Lucy. She is a loving dog but doesn’t know how to walk on a leash very well. She pulls horribly bad and is extremely strong so by the time you are done walking her, your arm is killing you 🙁

  2. I have a sweet maltese dog named Bailey. This would be awesome to try with him on our daily walks!

  3. I have two small female dogs: Pepper Too is a miniature schnauzer and Mitzi is a dorkie (dachshund/yorkie designer hybrid) ヅ *Thanks* for the giveaway!

  4. Just lost our two rescue dogs recently after 15 and 17 years – so heartbroken.
We are going to adopt 2 more rescue dogs this weekend. This would really help training brand new dogs in a new environment. Less than 30lbs each.

  5. I have an older beagle. She simply can’t walk on a regular leash, she needs this type of harness leash. I love this!

  6. I’ve got 3 rescue doggies, 2 beagle mixes and a chihuahua mix. I’ve used a similar product in the past with a dog and got great results, would love to win one of these, one of my beagles is a tugger!

  7. I have 2 rescue dogs, Lucy-pitbull and Walter-pitbull mix. Lucy is a PULLER and I attach Walter’s leash to Lucy so she drags both of us on our walks!

  8. This would be for my daughter who I live with. She has a rescu “mutt” (as she calls her) and is planning on getting another Springer Spaniel in the next few months. Thanks for the giveaway.

  9. We have a heinz 57 kinda dog…Her name is Trixie!!! I know she has some lab in her but not sure on whatelse!! Thanks for an awesome giveaway!!!

  10. I have a part pug and part shizu named Cookie and he’s the best dog ever! I love him so much!

  11. I have a Min Pin and a Chihuahua. The Min Pin, Duke, is horrible on a leash and my chihuahua, Keira, suffers from a collapsed trachea. Something like this would be wonderful for either of them. I have tried several other contraptions and I have not had any luck.

  12. I have a lab/chow mix and she is very hard to walk! We have a gentle lead, but she hates having that on her face. Would love to try this 🙂

  13. This product is an accident waiting to happen. It only teaches the dog how to pull the owner around and there is NO control of the head. DO NOT BY THIS PRODUCT TEACH YOUR DOG TO WALK ON A REAL LEASH AND COLLAR.
