The Eternals Now Streaming Exclusively on Disney+ and Available in IMAX Enhanced
Our Review:
Marvel Comics has a rich history that reaches back to the 1930s, full of amazing stories, characters, and lore that the MCU is finally beginning to explore. The Eternals comic history reaches back to the 1970s and bringing The Eternals into the MCU is a huge step in that direction. Spanning thousands of years on the Earth, The Eternals is a story about love, loss, loyalty, and finding your way despite our circumstances and humanity, with all our faults.
The Eternals were created by a Celestial. Celestials are responsible for creating life throughout the universe, the Eternals have been sent to Earth to protect the fledgling humans from monsters called Deviants. After their mission is complete they live thousands of years among humans guiding them as best they can but never interfering in our otherwise, natural development.

Each Eternal goes their separate ways learning to live among the humans and becoming a part of them. When the Deviants return they are thrust back together and learn terrible truths about who they are, what they are, and the real reason they exist.
The Eternals give you what you would expect from a Marvel movie, heart-pounding action scenes, brilliant effects, some twists and turns and a few outstanding reveals. The first half of the movie is not incredibly fast-moving, there is a fair bit of character development thrown in. This is an ensemble movie and it takes time to to do so, don’t expect a rollicking ride in the first half. After that, it definitely picks up and the action, as well as the shock moments, come pretty quickly.
The Eternals definitely add some serious depth to the MCU as well as sets up some pretty interesting possibilities for the future.
Eternals is now available on Digital and will be released on 4K, Blu-ray, and DVD February 15.
