Now that the holidays are over, and the new year has started, it makes me think about disposing the stacks of bills and papers I no longer need. I am a self-professed hoarder of papers, I keep everything. Even though I worked in the accounting filed for many years, and know that it is not necessary to keep papers for more than a certain amount of years, I still have papers from way back in 2009.

So, now that the new bills are coming in, it is time to get rid of all these ancient papers and feel safe about doing so.  The Fellowes P-12C Cross-Cut Paper Shredder contains cross-cut blades that destroy 12 sheets of paper into approximately 309 particles per sheet, so even if someone steals your shredded paper, it is pretty much impossible for them to reassemble it.

The other feature I love is that it will safely shred papers that contain paper clips and staples. I have way too many papers to sit there and pick out all the staples and clips, so this is definitely a time saver. It also features SafeSense® technology that automatically disables the shredder when hands touch the paper opening, or in my case, a curious cat that kept trying to stick his paw into the shredder while we were trying to record the video.

Take a look at how easy paper is shredded, so easy and so safe that a 10 year old can do it (that’s my son shredding the paper).

The P-12C can be purchased at Walmart Stores nationwide and at for a suggested retail price of $99.97.
