I can’t even begin to tell you how very excited I am about this review/giveaway. When I was approached by the creators  of Zylie The Bear I was ecstatic to have the chance to review this wonderful Teddy Bear. You see, I am a Teddy Bear fanatic, I love Teddy Bears, all kinds. I still have my very first Teddy Bear from when I was born, 39 1/2 years ago – I will share that story a little later with you all.

The other reason I was excited was having the opportunity of sharing my love of Teddy Bears with my son Nikolas. He already has a very well-loved Teddy that my Mom gave him when he was born but he also has a few others he tends too. He is 6, which is the age Zylie is recommended for.

Let me give you a little background on Zylie and her friend Shen. Zylie is a Teddy Bear fashionista! She was designed by a Mom who noticed her daughter talking doll clothes to dress up her Teddy Bear. Zylie is 18 inches tall and is jointed just like a doll, so putting on clothes and changing them is very easily done.

She comes with the cutest little outfit that is extremely well-made and very fashionable. (I wish I had one of these as a little girl, I would have gone nuts with the clothes). She also comes with a little purse that contains a diary, map and passport. The attention to detail is amazing. She is soft and plush like a traditional teddy, so hugging of Zylie is highly recommended.

Along with Zylie also comes a book that details her travels with her little brother Theo. Zylie is a travelling bear and with each adventure to a new land children can learn about different cultures and history. Love this as a homeschooling Mom, not only can Nikolas play with the bear he can learn new things as well.

Now don’t get me wrong, I didn’t give Nikolas Zylie, she is after all a “Girl Bear.” Zylie meets a new friend in her travels and “his” name is Shen. Shen is a Panda Bear Teddy from China.

Shen is also an 18 inch plush, jointed Teddy that comes in a green shirt, leather jacket, cargo pants and a backpack filled with a passport and drumsticks. He also comes with the second book in the series detailing how he and Zylie met.

Nikolas was super excited to see that he had a “boy” bear to be his bears best friend. In ten minutes he had already undressed and redressed Shen 3 times. We also started reading the books and he is excited to learn how Zylie and Shen met.

Here’s a pic shortly after we received Shen, although he won’t give up his bear, Shen is now a part of the family.

I highly reccomend these wonderfully unique Teddy Bears, pictures do NOT do them justice.
