Review: Shrek Forever After Game by Activision

I can’t tell you how excited the family was to receive the Shrek Forever After Video game by Activision. The boys have been going nuts waiting for the final movie of the series to come out,  so having the chance to check out the game was like a sneak preview of the movie.  We will most likely be taking the boys to see it and buy the DVD when it comes out to add to our Shrek Collection.

As for the Shrek Forever After game from Activision, we received the Wii version on the 19th and the boys have not stopped playing it. The graphics are really nice and the challenges are geared around having the whole family or a group of friends playing in multi-player mode. I tried, but for the life of me, Wii remotes confuse the heck out of me, just give me a good old fashioned joy stick and I’ll be happy 🙂

The game includes all of the lovable characters from the movie;  Shrek, Fiona, Puss In Boots and Donkey. You can battle through games and puzzles all the while trying to ward off the evil Rumpelstiltskin. If your child wants to play by themselves, there is also a single-player mode that is available.

Over all this is a great game for families to play together, you won’t be disappointed at all.

Disclosure: I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour campaign by Mom Central on behalf of Activision and received the items necessary to facilitate my review. In addition, Mom Central sent me a gift card to thank me for taking the time to participate.
