I am currently hosting a Twitter giveaway for Beanitos and was very excited today when I received a wonderful box of Beanitos to try and review for you guys.
I received the Black Bean and the Pinto Bean with Flax chips. Since I discovered that I am sensitive to gluten, I couldn’t wait to taste these chips. They are not only gluten-free but are also corn-free, all natural and high in fiber. You can read all about the health benefits of Beanitos here.
I ripped open the Black Bean chips and the smell was amazing! They are hearty, salty and you can really taste the black beans, which I love. They are also very firm and would hold up to any salsa or guacamole out there. These chips would be perfect for your next get-together, definitely something new and different and dare I say,
healthier” than what is currently available.
The Pinto Bean and Flax Chips were also very yummy. I was surprised to see a chip with flax seeds, I have always seen them as something you can sprinkle onto foods not being baked into a snack chip. Again, great flavor and very hearty. I’ll be making my homemade salsa tonight to test them out 🙂
