Ragú is teaming up with actress and mom Molly Ringwald (love her, being the 80’s child that I am) to promote the Recipe for a Good Start Contest asking moms to share their recipes for a good start and for a chance to win a $5,000 college scholarship.
The whole premise behind this great new contest from Ragú is to encourage more families to spend time at the dinner table. The dinner table is the place where everyone can sit and share what has happened in their day and therefore become closer as a result. I know many of us are very busy and we have all been guilty of sitting in front of the TV while eating dinner but with a great recipe, we can have everyone wanting to sit at the dinner table every night.
You can go to www.recipeforagoodstart.com, and submit your original Ragú recipe for a “good start” in life. There will be three first prize winners who will be awarded a family trip to New York City where they will compete in a nationally televised Ragú Recipe Challenge for the chance to win the ultimate prize of a $5,000 college scholarship.
