Product Review: Zavor Crunch Air Fryer Oven

My family are HUGE air fryer fans and have had one ever since we reviewed the first one back in 2014. Since that time, air fryers have come a long way, adding new bells and whistles but when it comes down to it, consumers just want it to air fry well and that’s all that matters, at least to my family.

The Zavor Crunch Air Fryer Oven is a sleek air fryer oven that looks good on your counter and replaces a traditional air fryer, grill, rotisserie, dehydrator, toaster oven, roaster, and convection oven. It has a 12.7 Qt. capacity that will allow you to cook more food than most.

It comes with the following accessories:

  • Removable Non-stick Trays (2): Ceramic coated mesh trays for a more convenient, nonstick cooking experience.
  • Rotisserie Basket: Stainless steel rotisserie basket is the perfect accessory for air frying French fries, tater tots, onion rings, and more.
  • Rotisserie Retrieval Tool: Allows users to safely remove the rotisserie basket or rotisserie forks from the air fryer.
  • Removable Drip Tray: Placed at the very bottom of the air fryer cavity to catch any liquid, oil, crumbs, food particles, etc. that may fall during cooking.
  • Rotisserie Spit: The rod that food will be suspended on while rotisserie cooking.
  • Rotisserie Forks with Removable Screws: Used to secure the food onto the rotisserie spit.

This air fryer has 8 main cooking functions: Fries, Meat, Seafood, Pizza, Chicken, Vegetables, Bake, and Dehydrate. We decided that the first thing we would make to judge just how well this air fryer works is the ultimate fried food – french fries! You can use the included rotisserie basket for this, but we have used a basket in the past and prefer to use the trays. We just like the way it cooks on the trays and the clean-up is easier.

They came out perfectly!

We then decided to try making grilled cheese in the Crunch air Fryer because, why not? You just make the sandwich as you would normally by adding the cheese and buttering both sides of the bread then just pop it on for 4 minutes at 400 degrees on one side, then check, and flip over for another 5 minutes.

This also came out perfectly!

Next we wanted to try the rotisserie spit, and since we just bought a small turkey breast it was the perfect way to test it out.

It came out so well that we are going to do our Thanksgiving turkey breasts this way.

The Crunch air fryer comes with everything you need and the manual has great instructions to walk you through everything, especially if you are new to using not only an air fryer, but also new to a rotisserie and dehydrator. I usually just go by the cooking directions on the package and set the same temperature and time. There is a temperature indicator, time indicator, Fahrenheit indicator, and a minute indicator on the screen so everything is literally a push of the button. The manual includes a preset function time and temperature chart to also help you.

One of my favorite features that our old one did not have was the option to mute the alerts when your food is done. It’s a loud beep, so it’s awesome that we can mute this in case someone is making a late-night snack like an awesome grilled cheese and doesn’t want to disturb anyone.

I really like the look of this oven, it’s taller and sleeker than our last one and it looks nice sitting on the counter. For reference, the weight is 14.99 lbs and the dimensions are 15.83″ x 14.37″ x 12.68″.

I can’t wait to use it for all my holiday cooking! The Zavor Crunch Air Fryer retails for $159.95
