Wish Upon a Star with Pinocchio Now on Blu-Ray and DVD #Pinocchio 3

There are movies from my childhood that stick out for me, ones that have stayed with me in some way and Pinocchio is definitely one of those movies. I don’t think there is one person over 10 who doesn’t know who Pinocchio is and what he is all about.

I managed to get my boys to sit and watch it with me and I wasn’t surprised at how much they loved it and how much I loved all of the sweet memories flooding back to me. I remember loving Jiminy Cricket and wanting him to be real so he could come to my house, and of course, I wanted Figaro, who didn’t?

Even though the movie was released in 1940, it’s definitely a timeless tale and one that can still teach us to Wish Upon a Star  and to always be “brave, truthful, and unselfish.”

I remember after seeing the movie I would never lie because I thought my nose would grow as I am sure many, many children thought the same. I bet parents everywhere were loving that! It just goes to show you the power of movies.
