PHINEAS AND FERB: STAR WARS – Episode IVa: May the Ferb Be with You is a 1-hour long episode that originally aired on the Disney Channel July 26, 2014. This isn’t exactly a full-blown Star Wars episode, but more of Phineas and Ferb interacting with the Star Wars characters. Still, it’s a must have for both fans of Phineas and Ferb and Star Wars, PLUS you get a really cool Perry-In-Carbonite Keychain!
Even though this is a whole new story per say, if you are a fan of Star Wars in any fashion, you will enjoy this episode. I watched with both my husband, who is a HUGE fan, and my 11 year old son, who is a fan, but more of Phineas and Ferb to tell the truth. So right there you can see the draw of both fans, and for fans of both, it’s a WIN/WIN!
You will get to see all of your favorite Star Wars characters as they delve into this new story-line. See, they created a story around Phineas and Ferb, and then placed them in the Star Wars world, instead of inserting them into an already solid story like Star Wars Episode IV. One of my favorite characters is Darthenshmirtz, who you will recognize as Darth Vader-like, as well as Norm-3P0 (Norm from Phineas and Ferb). I thought this was clever on their part and funny too. Speaking of funny, the jokes in this one are a plenty and you will start laughing off the bat.
I enjoyed it, and I am not even what you call a fan of either. This would make a great stocking stuffer, and one for the Star Wars and or Phineas and Ferb collector.
