Show CommentsMy tip: Don’t stress because the child will feel the stress to. Remember that every child potty trains at their own time, and they all eventually do it.
Every kid is different, my daughter was in daycare and they suggested putting big girl underwear on under the training pants. That worked really well. My son was really into hot wheels cars so he potty trained pretty quickly when we gave him a new car everytime he went to the bathroom.
For boys, use Cheerios as potty targets.
We always use candy coated chocolate 1 for #1 and 2 for #2 🙂 Worked for us !! And be patient all children are not the same !
use rewards and be consistent
My best tips is be patient and consistent. try to never go back to diapers even at night it seems to confuse my kids and took longer!
My advice is to be aware of your child’s routine and toilet them frequently!

My only tip is to be patient and my kids potty trained when they were ready not when I wanted them to.
We gave our sons M&Ms for appropriate potty moments. We did not punish for misses. Ever.
Tip: Don’t force them on the toilet if they don’t want to go. It’ll make them just hate the toilet!
We are in the process of potty training my son now. My son has autism so it can be harder. We use a reward system to help motive him to be successful.
You know what? Nothing beats getting on that potty and showing them how it’s done! Haha. Funny, but true.
