Beyond Tacos with Old El Paso®!

Old El Paso want you to start thinking beyond the taco, and get inspired by exploring the possibilities with delicious recipes for enchiladas, quesadillas, fajitas or burritos using your favorite Old El Paso® ingredients.

I know in our home we always have a Taco Tuesday night, and we always have Tacos. We never really make any other dishes, so this week we decided to branch out some and change it up.

We made ………

Steak and Chicken Quesadillas

001

Ingredients

  • Steak cut into strips
  • Chicken cut into strips
  • Shredded Cheese (we used Cheddar-Jack since it’s a favorite, but use whatever cheese you like)
  • Old El Paso Flour Tortillas

Directions:

Heat a large skillet, and spray with non-stick cooking spray. Keep it on medium because the tortillas will burn quickly.

Place the tortilla into the skillet and let sit for about 10 seconds, flip over and add shredded cheese, then chicken or steak, add more cheese, then place another tortilla on top.

Gently flip the entire tortilla over to brown the new side. Take a few looks inside to check if the cheese has melted.

Serve with salsa, sour cream, guacamole, or just eat them as is.
