Nutrisystem Week 28 Update ~ Taking a Break #NSNation

Week 28 on  Nutrisystem and I have a confession………..

After being on the program for 28 weeks I took a break from NS Foods. A part of me wanted to put to test what I have learned and to see if I am ready to go off the program. I ate sensibly, all week, and basically tried to emulate my Nutrisystem meals but incorporating the same kind of regular foods.

I thought it would be really hard to get through the week without relying on my meals being already “made” for me, but you know what? It wasn’t. I really enjoyed figuring out and planning my “regular” meals. The good news – I did it, I didn’t gain any weight, I lost a pound! So 22 pounds lost!

I learned that I can go back to “regular” foods and actually lose weight, which is amazing to me, it’s a whole new mindset. I am back on the meals this week, and very proud to have also lost an inch on my waist, so 23 inches gone since the beginning!

I hope I can keep up the momentum!
