I have long been a HUGE fan of Swiffer products, so when I was asked as a member of She Speaks to review the New Swiffer Sweep & Trap, I was excited to try it. The lowdown on my household is this, I have two boys, 1 dog, and 3 cats, and very dark wood floors, so, as you can imagine I am always sweeping, moping, swiffering, etc. I feel like that is all I do some days.
The New Swiffer Sweep & Trap was super easy to put together, just a couple of clicks of the poles, and then attach the Swiffer pad to the bottom. There are no batteries, and it literally took just seconds.
Swiffer sent two little baggies of common “messes” to show just how the product works. First we tried the nuts and screws, we just placed them on the floor and let the Swiffer Sweep & Trap go to work.
Here’s a quick little video of the Swiffer Sweep & Trap in action, as you can tell, it was quick and easy!
Next we placed the cedar shavings on the floor and went to work.
I was pretty happy with the results of both the tests, the Swiffer is so easy and lightweight. The Sweep & Trap’s rotating blades picked up all the mess, and the Swiffer dry cloth got all of the remnants and hair off the floor. I also had the chance to use it once our Christmas Tree came down, it worked like a charm getting up all of those pine needles on the floor and on my throw rug.
Once the mess is cleaned up, all you need to do is squeeze the two ends at the base of the Swiffer to release the trap, and then replace the Swiffer pad. Easy!
I definitely love this new Swiffer Sweep & Trap and it will definitely be getting a BIG workout in my home.
You can purchase your very own Swiffer Sweep and trap at your local Walmart stores.
