
Exclusive First Look at Netflix’s New Family Film, ‘Finding ‘Ohana’
There’s a new family movie coming to Netflix on January 29, 2021. Finding Ohana takes place in rural Oahu where two Brooklyn-raised siblings go on an adventure when a journal points them in the direction of a long-lost treasure. This epic adventure brings them together with new friends and leads them to reconnect with their Hawaiian heritage.

The movie stars Kea Peahu, Alex Aiono, Lindsay Watson, Owen Vaccaro, with Kelly Hu and Branscombe Richmond, Ke Huy Quan, Brad Kalilimoku, Chris Parnell, Marc Evan Jackson, and Ricky Garcia. It’s directed by Jude Weng, written by Christina Strain, produced by Ian Bryce, p.g.a. and Executive produced by Irene Yeung and JJ Hook.
Christina Strain set out to write “a Goonies style movie in Hawaii that was about family, culture, and heritage.”
