In celebration of theStar Wars Digital Movie Collectionbeing released for the first time ever, I was sent an awesome Star Wars box by Disney and Click Communications.
The biggest fan in our household is my husband Mykl, we are in our 40’s so we were right there when the very first movie was released in 1977, so you can only imagine how excited he was to open a giant box that had Star Wars related items inside. He was like a kid as you will see in the video below. I was excited too and forgot to turn my phone around so I apologize for the cell phone view, just click on full screen to see it better.
Take a look!
Isn’t it just awesome?! I was floored at what they sent, it was so generous and made my Star Wars fans very happy! It also made Mykl reminisce about seeing Star Wars for the first time and how he begged his parents for all of the toys afterward. The figures in the boxes really brought back memories of the original figures, and you better believe, they will not be leaving their boxes.
I remember playing with the figures when I was little, although I would call them dolls and all the boys would yell at me and tell me they were ” action figures!” LOL, I didn’t care I loved Chewbacca and of course, Princess Leia since she was the only girl
action figure.”
Check out the pictures of our youngest son being taught how to use the lightsaber by his Dad, as you do. My son decided to be Vader, of course, who wouldn’t? I thnk he lost the battle though, as you can see in the picture, his had was sabered off!! They really had so much fun and I had fun watching my husband turn into a big kid again.
Leave me a comment here or find me on Twitter and tell me what your Star Wars memories are, don’t forget to use #MyStarWars when you do!
