About the Film

 Midway centers on the Battle of Midway, a clash between the American fleet and the Imperial Japanese Navy which marked a pivotal turning point in the Pacific Theater during WWII. The film, based on the real-life events of this heroic feat, tells the story of the leaders and soldiers who used their instincts, fortitude, and bravery to overcome the odds. Directed by Roland Emmerich.

  1. My favorite war film is “Glory” starring Denzel Washington, Morgan Freeman, Cary Elwes, and Matthew Broderick. It takes place during the Civil War.

  2. My favorite war film is Hanover Street, with Harrison Ford. If you’ve never seen it, I highly recommend it!!

  3. My fav movies about war has to be We Were Soldiers and Hacksaw Ridge. Haven’t see Midway or 1917 yet but I know that both are going to be add in my list too once I saw it.
