The Little live Pets Birds acts just like a real bird, you can pet it and it responds, plus it’s really soft to the touch, almost like a suede. It fits easily in your child’s hand so they can pet the bird and listen to all the various sounds it makes, over 30 different sounds in all, including whistling, chirping, tweeting and songs from your favorite nursery rhymes.
One of the cutest features is the record feature. Your child can simply push a button, wait for the bird to chirp then record a 10 second message. The bird will then repeat it back, and your child’s voice instantly sounds bird-like. The voice alone is so cute and will give a you a chuckle, I did it and played it back for my cat, who was not amused.
There are eight birds your child can collect and you can start looking for them this month at major retailers like Walmart, Target and Amazon.com. They retail for $9.99 and are recommended for ages 5 years and up.
This is a super cute toy and one that kids, as well as adults will just love. Personally, I think its a great present for a child who wants a pet but Mom and Dad just aren’t quite ready for the real deal, there’s nothing to lose with an electronic pet.
