The Holidays are here! I can’t believe that Thanksgiving is next week!

This year, we won’t be celebrating at home, but will be traveling to my husband cousin’s house for Thanksgiving.  Although, it is very nice to spend time with the other side of the family, I will be missing Thanksgiving here in my home. You see, I just LOVE cooking Thanksgiving dinner, I love everything about it, from prepping the Turkey to making my Mom’s Kielbasa and sauerkraut dish that has been a fixture since I can remember.

 Taking on her traditions is my special way of helping my family remember her this time of year.  Even though we won’t be at home, I know she is with me always and besides, Christmas is not too far off, so I will get to put on that apron in no time 🙂
